The Rockpile Sportscenter was formed in April of 1998 by William Hayes. Its purpose was to publish news and events concerning the CHGL. As popularity and demand grew, the operation proved to be too much for one man, so on August 12, 1998, the publication was purchased by league Commissioner Andy Rakes. Since then, the Rockpile Sportscenter has provided its readers with up to date information and insightful comments by its staff writers.
